Autumn 2
In geography this half-term, we will be learning about deserts and considering the question - 'Would you like to live in the desert?' We will be considering where deserts are found in the world, naming and describing the physical features of a desert and considering how humans use the desert.
Stay and create
Year 5 enjoyed welcoming their parents/carers into the classroom where they spent time creating Bonfire Night related artwork together.
Autumn 1
This half-term in History we are learning all about the Vikings. We started by learning about where the Vikings had come from and looking at a brief history of the Viking period. In groups, we created timelines to order some key events and considered if these events were relevant to the Vikings, the Anglo-Saxons or both.
