Hot or Cold?

Big Question - Would you rather live in a hot or cold place?

Building bridges

We showed great teamwork, working together to try and build the strongest bridge.

We tested them by seeing how many whiteboards they would hold before our bridge collapsed.

A friend to the friendless.

In RE we learnt about the story of Matthew the tax collector.

We acted out the story showing how Jesus invited Matthew to be his friend.

Making shapes!

In Maths we were learning about 2D shapes.

We used lollipop sticks to make different 2D shapes.

Autumn 1

Brilliant Bugs

Big Question - Why do different minibeasts live in different places?

In RE we were learning how to care for God's world.

We showed how we could do this by going on a litter picking session in our school playground.

Baby Bear's Chair!

In DT we had so much fun making a chair structure for Baby Bear to sit on.

We used card and masking tape and had to show lots of perseverance.

Collecting coins

We collected coins and made a lovely picture with them.

We are sending the coins to a charity to help others.
