At Bramley St Peter's, we believe that education is about developing the whole child.
Our approach to SMSC – Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development – ensures that pupils are not only academically successful but also thoughtful, compassionate, and responsible individuals.

 

  • Spiritual: We help pupils explore beliefs and values, reflect on life’s big questions, and develop a sense of awe, wonder, and creativity.
  • Moral: We encourage pupils to recognise right and wrong, show respect and fairness, and take responsibility for their actions.
  • Social: We provide opportunities to work collaboratively, form positive relationships, and take part in our school and local community.
  • Cultural: We celebrate diversity, explore different traditions, and promote respect for all cultures and backgrounds.

 

Our commitment to SMSC development runs through our curriculum, collective worship, extra-curricular activities, and everyday school life, preparing pupils to play a positive role in modern Britain and beyond. Our calendar shares details of some of these events.
