Hello again Year 6! 

For some of you this will be your third week in school and in your 'bubbles' while others are continuing to learn from home. Each week we will upload the PowerPoints that we are using in school as home learning. Mrs DD is also posting exciting challenges on Seesaw regularly. Both her and us will be looking to see your responses to the activities so be sure to keep posting! 

Maths- Please see below for a daily Fluent in 5 and a continued focus on Algebra this week! We are developing our understanding of solving simple algebraic equations. (Remember to try your best and don't worry too much if you get a little confused at first) 

English- This week we are focusing on gothic narrative! We are analysing famous texts and creating and writing about our own gothic monster. See the PowerPoint for more detail.

History- This half term our topic is the Greeks! This week we are learning all about the Gods and Goddesses, creating a Family Tree using the clues given as well as a factfile. Could you create one and upload it to Seesaw?

PSHE- This week we are continuing to focus your transition to your future high schools. We will be having lots of discussions and looking at different scenarios based on common worries. We will be working each day on a new page of the transition booklet - attached last week.  If you are not in school and have any questions or worries about transition and high school then please send us a message on Seesaw. We are also doing some arty activities whilst we chat- check out the PowerPoint below.
