At Bramley St Peter's we offer wrap around care for our pupils (Nursery to Year 6), providing parents/carers with the option of childcare both before and after school. Please note we are not in a position to provide places for any child with significant additional needs which require one to one staff support.

NEW FEES FOR BREAKFAST AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

From Monday 8th January 2024 there will be an increase to the cost of sessions at Breakfast Club and After School Club. Please see the letter below for more information.

You must book your Breakfast and After School club sessions using the Parent Pay app or at parentpay.com

BOOKING SESSIONS

You can book as many sessions as you wish but remember you will be charged for each session and have to pay for them at the time of booking (unless on a voucher scheme).  

CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel sessions and the cost will be refunded to your account providing you cancel by 1PM on the previous day

eg cancel by 1pm on Monday for the Tuesday club.

If you do not cancel you will be charged and no refunds will be given.  We have to staff the clubs and buy the appropriate levels of food for each club.

If your child is absent from school due to illness please let the office know that they were booked into a school club, there will be an exception to the charge for clubs if your child is ill.

PARENTS/CARERS MUST DROP AND PICK UP THEIR CHILDREN AT THE CLUB DOOR.

Please do not send your children round to the door for Breakfast Club on their own. They should be escorted by an adult to the door and 'handed over' to the staff there. 

NEW BOOKING SYSTEM

From Monday 6th November 2023 sessions at Breakfast Club and After School Club must be pre-booked and paid for in advance. Information/guidance as to how to book and pay has been shared and can be accessed below.  Parents/carers who pay via vouchers will need to pre-book but payment will continue to be made in the same way.

Payments can be made using our online system (ParentPay) or using a voucher scheme. 

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs each day and is run by support staff from within school. This provision can be accessed by children from Nursery to Year 6. Our adventure room is used as the main room and this can be accessed via the main back door. The intercom can be used to communicate with the staff in Breakfast Club. Children should be escorted to the back door as a minimum safeguarding requirement. 

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am until the beginning of school, where the children are supervised out into the playground so they can line up with their classes.

Breakfast is served in the main room from 7.30am until 8.25am. The children are offered a range of options including cereal, toast, yogurt and fruit juice (diluted to reduce the sugar content). Once the children have eaten, they move into the dining room where there are a range of different activities e.g. colouring and table tennis on offer. 

The cost of each session is currently:

• £4 for entry prior to 8am
• £3 for entry after 8am

Places must be booked in advance using the Parent Pay app or online web page and payment will need to be made at the time of booking.  If you pay by Voucher or tax credits then please contact the school office as your account will need to be set up differently to accept this payment method.

After School Club

Our After School Club runs each day and is run by support staff from within school. This provision can be accessed by children from Nursery to Year 6. Our adventure room is used and this can be accessed via the main back door. At the end of school, children accessing After School Club move to the adventure room. Older children do this by themselves but younger children are escorted to the room by school staff.

Parents/carers collect children from the main back door where the intercom is used to communicate with the staff in After School Club. 

After School Club runs from the end of school until 6.00pm. Children who are in After School Club after 4pm are served a light meal with fruit and a drink. There are then a range of different activities on offer for them. This, when the weather allows, also includes access to the playground and trim trail.

The cost of each session is based on the time of collection. If a child is collected between end of school and up to

• up to 4.00pm - the cost is £5 (no snack)
• up to 5.00pm - the cost is £9
• up to 6.00pm - the cost is £11

NB There is a per minute fee for any child who is collected after 6.00pm and therefore late. Please see our Breakfast Club and After School Club agreement for more details.
