Amazing Athletics - Bramley Olympics

Athletics has always been a favourite for us here at BSP and this year was no different. After learning the various areas during PE lessons and working as a team, we took 30 children from Key Stage 1 and 2 to the Bramley Olympics where we competed against other schools in various track and field events.

Brownlee Triathlon Event

Fifty year 5 and 6 children attended the Brownlee Triathlon Event at the John Charles Centre where they had to swim, cycle and run. The children had lots of fun and for many it was the first time doing such sports.

Skipping School

Here at Bramley St Peter’s we like to be as active as possible and this year is no exception. We have had Skipping School come in and work across the school to teach us quick and fun ways to skip. This boosts our physical and mental well-being. These sessions will be followed up with Years 2 and 4 taking part in a skipping festival later in the year.

Netball

The year 5 and 6 children have had lots of fun playing Netball at school as we hosted a netball festival. This was an excellent opportunity for them to practise and refine their skills with help from the Leeds Rhino Foundation.
