Sports for Champion with Tamara Wilcock
This term we welcomed Tamara Wilcock from Sheffield United to work with our children on a sponsored circuit. Tamara showcased her career so far and showed the children what hard work and dedication can do. The children had lots of fun whilst raising money for the next generation of athletes and our school.
Our Year 4s started their skipping journey today with Skipping School. The children were reminded and taught different skipping moves. The children will continue to practice in school in preparation for the Leeds skipping competition next year.
As part of our commitment to getting children moving and more active we have invested in a scrap shed. This allows for risky play, teamwork and gets the children moving on a daily basis. This is also is a sustainable way to improve our playtimes and learning.
