Respect
Do for others what you want them to do for you. (Matthew 7:12)
Our school rules are underpinned by the need to show love and respect. At Bramley St Peter’s we show care for each other, our property, our work and our school. Showing respect towards another person means you act in a way that demonstrates you care for them and their feelings.
The Bible also teaches us to show love and respect. For example, how we show reverence to God. The verse from Matthew summarises this value well by telling us we should treat others how we want to be treated ourselves. We are all special in God’s eyes and so we all deserve to be treated with respect.
