PE funding

As part of the legacy from the 2012 Olympic Games, the Government committed to provide all schools with an amount of money. This money is given to schools to support the improvement of PE (Physical Education) provision. Each school can choose how to spend the annually allocated money. The documents below show how we, at Bramley St Peter's, are spending our allocation.

Swimming provision 

At Bramley St Peter's our pupils attend swimming lessons in Year 4. The lessons, at Bramley Baths, are attended once a week for a whole academic year. The aim is for pupils to develop their swimming ability in order for them to swim 25m confidently and competently in the pool, as per the National Curriculum requirements. 

 

From our previous (22-23) Year 6 cohort:
