Congratulations to all our finalists from today's Galley Poetry competition. Having won their class competitions, they represented their class in the grand final reading their poems out in front of our judges, the whole school and their parents/carers. The children, despite feeling nervous, recited their poems well and the judges had a tough job of deciding who were the eventual winners, with a very high standard noted.
Congratulations to Jack (EYFS and KS1) and Max (KS2) who were our overall winners. Their names will be engraved on our trophy shortly.
