                 At the Coast

Summer 2

We had a fantastic time on our beach day. Lots of fun in the sun!

Look at the fantastic homework that they created for their homework about things they would see at the coast.

Gardener' World

Spring 2

We had an exciting time at Harlow Carr Gardens. We explored the grounds, hunted for seeds, planted seeds and saw the biggest seed in the world.

Habitats

Spring 1

We have been looking for bugs in our forest school area. We have been using our photography skills to take pictures of the bugs in their habitats.

The Great Fire of London

Autumn 2

Great fire of London Day

 

We found out about what the houses were like during The Great Fire of London. We all made a house by adding the wooden beams to help hold it up.

 

We made our houses and St Paul's Cathedral into a London Street then The Great Fire of London started. We help be the wind and the firefighters who tried to stop the fire spreading. 

It's Chriiistmas!

Well done to everyone for your fantastic performance of 'It's Chriiiiistmas!'. 

We visited Bramley Library to read a story and find out about how we can use the library after school.

Autumn 1

Lichtenstein style painting.

We have been looking at the artist Roy Lichtenstein and the style of his drawings. We used his style to create self portraits. Can you guess who they are?

We had some unusual visitors. It was really interesting to see what they felt like, how they moved and about their place in a food chain.

Growth Mindset

 

We have been building towers to help us learn how important it is to persevere and learn from our mistakes. There were some excellent Professor Perseverance and Major Mistake in the class so we managed to build some very stable and tall towers.
