Hello Year 6! 

From this week onwards, some of you will be back in school in your bubbles and some will be continuing to learn from home. Each week we will upload the PowerPoints that we are using in school as home learning. Mrs DD is also going to be posting exciting challenges on Seesaw regularly. Both her and us will be looking to see your responses to the activities so be sure to keep posting! 

Maths- Please see below for a daily Fluent in 5 and a focus on Algebra this week! (Remember to try your best and don't worry too much if you get a little confused at first) 

English- Did you watch the SpaceX launch? This week we will be writing a letter to an astronaut. 

History- This half term our new topic is the Greeks! Be sure to check out the information on the PowerPoints to find out more.. 

PSHE- We are starting the week with our Healthy: Inside and Out Day. The focus of this will be on the 'new normal' and our time and emotions during lockdown.

This week we are also focusing on Black Lives Matter and discussing recent events in the news. Please remember to speak to an adult that you trust if you have any concerns, or post onto Seesaw and an adult at school will respond to you too.
