Summer 2

Our topic is 'A Victorian Seaside'. We have been learning about the story of Grace Darling and why she is famous. We have also enjoyed retelling the story of 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' with actions to help us remember it! 

Summer 1

Our topic for this half term is Africa. We have enjoyed creating pictures by painting a sunset background and sticking animals on top to create the appearance of a silhouette. 

Spring 2

In our art lessons we have looked at the work of Georgia O'Keeffe. We looked closely at her paintings of flowers and used paint to create our own paintings in the same style. We are really proud of our work. 
In 1RC we have been learning about traditional tales. We really enjoyed reading the story of Rumpelstiltskin. Look at our amazing story openings!
