Year 4 visitors

 

Thursday 14th October

 

Today, year 4 were visited by a speaker from the Leeds Development Education Centre, who provided an Intergenerational Care Home Linking Workshop. The workshop enabled children to experience some of the toys and games played with and clothes worn in times gone by. Children also listened to 'Mary' recounting how she played with 'bogeys' in her youth.

 

We have been linked with a care home in Pudsey and the idea is that over the rest of the year, our children will undertake some activities with the residents.
