Support staff - Miss Brighouse, Miss Kittsen, Mrs Anderson (Y3/4) and Mrs Pullan (Y3/4)
In 3/4SW we have been coming up with our own games in PE and testing them out on each other. We all had a fantastic time and worked really well together. The children's ideas were all really good with some exciting competitive elements.
Year 3/4 SW have made bread this week. We learnt about the history of bread, tasted and evaluated existing bread and yesterday we got to make our own bread rolls! We followed the instructions very carefully and our bread rolls were delicious!
3/4 SW visited Eureka this week. We had a fantastic time learning all about how the body works. We also learnt lots about sound and habitats.
The children in 3RR had a great time playing games involving addition and subtraction!
World Book Day in 3RR
Year 3/4 SW had a fantastic world book day yesterday! Leeds Rhinos came into school to deliver some fantastic dance sessions! We also looked at the book Elmer and thought about how we were special.
Year 3/4 have been making bird boxes for our DT topic. This linked in with our science topic of living things and habitats. We designed our boxes, cut out our wood, glued it together, then painted our design.
The children in 3RR had a go at designing and making their own bread rolls . They were delicious!
