Good afternoon Year 5, we hope you managed to have a good weekend and have started to view some of the Home Learning activities we have shared with you. It's very important over the coming weeks that you try and keep a routine to your days - make sure you have time to get some fresh air, either in your garden or by going out for a walk with your family if it's possible to do so.
We shared Home Learning packs with you on your last day in school but each week we will add to the website with further activities. Do as much as you can but please also remember to pace yourselves, don't stress!
This week we would like you to have a go at the following activities:
English - Can you keep a journal of the week? Starting today can you write a diary entry in your exercise book about what you have done during the day before. Remember to use emotive language - write about how you are feeling. When we are back at school we will be able to share these in class if you want.
Don't forget to read a little bit everyday as well!
Maths - In class we have been learning about fractions and were about to begin work on decimals. Use this website https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-5/ to access this weeks maths work.
Keep practising your times tables on Times Tables Rockstars - you all have access with your Powermaths logins now!
P.E. - Can you join in with Joe Wick's live P.E lessons everyday? Miss Carter will be doing the same at home!
