  • Reading challenge results

    Mon 26 Mar 2018

Congratulations to all our children who took part! As a school we read just short of 160,000 minutes in total across the week.

Well done to the children who read most in their class:

    RLM - Zephaniah

    RJC - Sam

    1LN - Matthew

    1JR - Skylah-Blu

    2ED - Harry

    2RH - Xander

    3LK - Pieter

    3RS - Abbie

    4CG - Thor

    4BW - Molly

    5HC - Emily

    5CC - Brya

    6VH - Bobbi-May

    6LG - Ellie

The following classes read over 10,000 minutes each:

    2ED, 3LK, 4CG, 5HC, 6VH and 6LG.

The class with the most minutes read (over 33,000) was 6VH!

Congratulations to the children who read the most minutes across the school. These were Xander in KS1 and Ellie in KS2.

Thank you for your support with this project.

  • Galley poetry award final

    Thu 15 Mar 2018
Congratulations to Charlie Spencer-Clarke and Nathaniel Marsh who were the FS/KS1 and KS2 winners respectively in our Galley Poetry Award competition. All our finalists recited their poems brilliantly - well done!
  • SCHOOL TO REMAIN SHUT TOMORROW (Fri 2nd)

    Thu 01 Mar 2018

The decision to remain shut tomorrow has not been taken lightly but the safety of our staff and pupils has been foremost in our thinking. Whilst the main roads have cleared today, side roads and pathways have been difficult to travel on. With the freezing temperatures and high winds overnight and the possibility of further snow, we feel the situation will only get worse.

The Galley poetry award final will be rearranged and we aim to be open as normal on Monday. Please keep checking the website for further updates.
