Report by Michael Tembo:
For the first time in 11 years Bramley St Peter's has once again won the Culley 7's (an important Rugby Tournament). We won every game but one. In the play offs we won every game but lost to Woodlesford, meaning that in the finals we went to the middle tier (the plate). We played teams like Lower Wortley and Northfield. When playing Lower Wortley we were quite nervous because in past years we have lost to them; but this year we won by a mere try! Continuing with the winning streak we won every other game in the finals, which resulted in us winning the plate trophy! Whilst playing as a united team some players really stood out as they scored lots of trys or were outstanding defensively: Dacx Jones-Buchanan, James Rowney and Bradley McCorrie.
So, there we are. 3 wonderful days with brilliant children and gorgeous weather. The staff said it was the best behaved and most enjoyable residential they had ever been on. What a compliment to your children! Thank you for sharing them with us.
The residential team.

Scarlett - I loved that we went in the woods and learned how to protect nature.
Ava - I liked pouring water on the teachers.

The year four group spent the day in Dalby Forest. We all we split into six groups led by the teachers. First we had to find different leaves of different trees like sycamore, beech and more. After going on a little stroll we finally arrived at the den building site. Soon later when our materials were collected and the dens were built we tested them and rated them with cheers. The best part was getting our teachers wet. Josh said the best bit was gathering everything and wetting the teachers. And then putting everything away afterwards. Harry commented that building dens was his favourite part because he could wet the teachers. Myla said she loved the park because everybody enjoyed it. We all had a great day see you in the next blog .
