  • Fun in the sun

    Fri 05 Jul 2019
Year 6 hosted their summer fair. There were stalls, refreshments, raffle, penalty shoot outs, dodgeball and a tuck shop.  It was very busy as you can see from the pictures. A massive backstage thank you too for Mrs Bell, the year 6 team and our wonderful office staff.
  • Culley 7's - Winning Team

    Fri 05 Jul 2019

    Report by Michael Tembo:

For the first time in 11 years Bramley St Peter's has once again won the Culley 7's (an important Rugby Tournament).  We won every game but one.  In the play offs we won every game but lost to Woodlesford, meaning that in the finals we went to the middle tier (the plate). We played teams like Lower Wortley and Northfield.  When playing Lower Wortley we were quite nervous because in past years we have lost to them; but this year we won by a mere try!  Continuing with the winning streak we won every other game in the finals, which resulted in us winning the plate trophy!  Whilst playing as a united team some players really stood out as they scored lots of trys or were outstanding defensively: Dacx Jones-Buchanan, James Rowney and Bradley McCorrie.

    Wed 03 Jul 2019

Myla-Emm - I cant wait to go to go to the rock factory to make some rock. My highlight so far is having fun with my friends.

Chloe - my favourite part is just having the experience of coming to Cober Hill and being so lucky to have been able to come here.

Darci - everything has been so much fun so far. I wish I could stay here longer.

Gabriella - I’ve loved it in the dining room when we all eat together. I felt comfortable with people in my room.

Harry ML - I enjoyed building the dens and playing in the with my friends.

Amaan - I have got to play with my friends more and playing in the Forest.

Miss Cave - the den building was a lot of fun. It’s been a good learning experience for me and for the children - learning how to look after themselves.

Ethan- I liked the Dalby Forest. I liked everything in my room.

Scarlett - I loved  that we went in the woods and learned how to protect nature.

Ava - I liked pouring water on the teachers.

Laila - I liked judging other dens. I learned how to make a den. It’s been good just having fun.

Lily says “ I liked  the spinning coil because you didn’t have a time limit but we still shared it . “
  • Cober Hill den building and leaf finding

Tue 02 Jul 2019 Liam and Chloe

The year four group spent the day in Dalby Forest. We all we split into six groups led by the teachers. First we had to find different leaves of different trees like sycamore, beech and more. After going on a little stroll we finally arrived at the den building site. Soon later when our materials were collected and the dens were built we tested them and rated them with cheers. The best part was getting our teachers wet.  Josh said the best bit was gathering everything and wetting the teachers. And then putting everything away afterwards.  Harry commented that building dens was his favourite part because he could wet the teachers. Myla said she loved the park because everybody enjoyed it. We all had a great day see you in the next blog .
